We kept asking people how they found out about Chord, and the answer was almost always the same: ‘We saw you all over social media.’ It was pretty cool seeing the online buzz actually bring people through the door.

- Andrew, Manager

More and more, we’ve had customers come in saying they saw us on Instagram or recognized a dish from something we posted. It's been really nice having local residents finally check us out!

- Mohammed, Manager

From the graphics, to the story, to the messaging, it made what felt like an overwhelming project and concept so easy to come together. More than anything, it feels like we are true partners with the same NoYa mission.

- Rahna, Owner

I've worked with NEFEFFECT on several projects now and they never disappoint. Every time I give a basic idea, Nick has a way of turning that basic idea into exactly what I had in mind, just couldn't put it into words.

- Merid, Refresh Music Group

Frizzles Salon & Spa operates two locations in Northern Virginia — Alexandria and Springfield — each with its own history, service mix, and neighborhood. NEFEFFECT was brought in to unify the brand while giving each location a website built around what actually makes it different. Brand strategy: rather than run two disconnected sites, we kept one cohesive core identity — the same "frizzles" wordmark, typography, and tone of voice — across both locations, so customers immediately recognize it's the same brand wherever they visit. Alexandria (est. 2009): a hair-salon-focused site with a dark, moody black-and-white aesthetic that reflects the location's modern, editorial feel. Springfield (est. 1981): a full salon & spa site with a bright, warm, colorful design that reflects its longer history and broader menu of services. Each site includes its own booking flow, service menu, and location-specific messaging, while shared brand elements keep the experience unmistakably Frizzles across both. Result: two websites that feel distinct enough to serve each location's identity, but unified enough that the Frizzles brand stays consistent wherever a client finds it.
"This looks awesome and I'm loving both webpages. It makes the brand feel so much more established. I love it!" - Ronny Kitmetou
